Administration and Personnel Department

  1. Assists the Rector in formulating and implementing administrative, policies/guidelines for non-academic staff.
  2. Responsible for the administration of non-academic staff and university assets and properties.
  3. Safe-keeps updated employment contracts, complete and updated credentials and certificates of non-academic staff.
  4. Assists the Recruitment Committee (or any other name) for the recruitment of non-academic staff.
  5. Conducts evaluation of non-academic staff twice a year and prepares and reports a summary of the results.
  6. Recommends the promotion, termination or issuance of sanction/warnings, rewards to all non-academic staff abased on the evaluation or process to the Rector.
  7. Elevates the staff’s grievances to the attention of the Rector.
  8. Organizes promotional activities and community services of the University all over Cambodia.
  9. Ensures that the students and staff regulations and codes of Conduct are strictly implemented and followed.
  10. Ensures a healthy and safety environment for staff.
  11. Formulates goals and objectives within the department level.
  12. Conducts/organizes staff development training and seminars (non-academic).
  13. Organizes annual planning conference with the management and non-academic staff.
  14. Assists the Rector in the preparation of annual reports and strategic plans.
  15. Undertakes the procurement and maintenance of the University’s properties and equipment and supplies.
  16. Prepares weekly reports on administrative matters to the Rector, monthly report.
  17. Resolves any disputes between staff and staff of non-academic, students and students or staff and students. Represents the university in liaison with the local authority and resolves and other occurrences.
  18. Performs any other tasks as assigned and required by the Rector.
