On Friday the 25th October the College of Arts and Humanities held a prize giving ceremony for the winners of the annual writing and speaking competitions. The event was attended by a number of VIP guests from the Rotary Club of Phnom Penh and presided over by Mr. William Monroe former US Ambassador and career diplomat
During the programme Mr. Monroe gave a short address to the students of Norton on the importance of learning foreign languages and in particular being able to express oneself well in the written word, which he said was of critical importance.
A number of the students presented their winning speeches and read their written competitions before the event was concluded with a photographic session on the stage with the Dean of CAHL and Mr William Monroe presenting the winners with their prizes.
