Having started new academic year, undergraduates and freshers in proper and neat uniforms, having recently passed high school examinations, enthusiastically gather together on Norton campus. All the freshers seem to be hectic at the start of the academic year since they need to get themselves more familiar with the study environment and other habits. For undergraduate students, they have had some experiences in their academic life; therefore, they know what to do next.
NU students have the same learning habits. Apart from their studies in various subjects, they spend time conducting some details either individually, in pairs or groups on the topics given. They, habitually, have a private meeting with their classmates in study areas, in the English laboratory or in the library to discuss their lessons, exchange ideas, and do their assignments. What is more, all students need to do self-study because they think the subjects are vital, the semester examinations are strictly processed, and they also want to pass the test with flying colours so that a good job will be offered when graduating. Besides their intellectual efforts as obligated, students always take part in an annual party set up by their respective faculty, field trips, students' achievement exhibition preparation as well as social activities led by the management board, professors/lecturers, and staff.
With mature leadership of the management board, effective and efficient teaching, and independently-constant academic perseverance, it is a crucial factor to purposely educate tomorrow's leaders. Optimistically, we believe that by working together, we will succeed.
