     2. The MScIT with Management program allows you an opportunity to further develop your IT skills as well as your managerial knowledge by taking other subjects offered to our MBA students. This program will give the ambitious student an opportunity to reach the very top in their career to positions such as Chief Information Officer or even Chief Executive Officer.

Our two MScIT programs equip graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in selected areas of information technology. They focus on the breadth of understanding needed to communicate between senior management, technical experts and users, thus assisting organizations to use information technology more effectively. The programs are designed to give graduates in computing and non-computing disciplines the opportunity to continue to develop their understanding of Information Technology, as well as adding some management disciplines to their portfolios.

The programs will enable you to understand what opportunities are offered by information technology, as well as its limitations, and therefore to make effective management decisions in applying IT. The courses provide a sound technical foundation and experience of concrete applications: they aim to provide graduates with the intellectual tools and practical experience to enable them to act as bridges between management and technical computer experts.

Starting a Career in Information Technology

We recognize that undertaking this program may be a significant investment of your time and money, and so we encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities. Not all our graduates decide to follow a career in the IT industry. Some students decide to apply their newly found skills within their existing careers, or move into research or teaching. Cambodian employers are interested in students who have a variety of well-developed personal skills in combination with good technical skills, and in this respect MScIT graduates are particularly well placed. During the program you will have opportunities to develop relevant professional skills and to learn from employers about working in the IT industry.
